Vehicle access control by license plate and wireless tag

Vehicle access control is focused to allow access to facilities only to those authorized vehicles, that have previously been registered in the database system.

In this case study we explain three different vehicle control methods: by license plate recognition, through wireless tag installed in the car or via mobile phone.

  • License plate recognition. The vehicles’s license plate are previously introduced into the database. When the vehicle arrives at the entrance, the license plate reader recognizes if they are authorized to access and opens the barrier.
  • Wireless Tags. Each driver is given a wireless tag to install in their vehicle. When the vehicle approaches the entrance, the wireless barrier detects it and opens automatically.
  • Access control app. Drivers can access into facility by an app installed on their mobile phone, that works as a wireless remote control, an alternative to TAG.
