This solution for access control allows to assign permissions, so that facility’s workers’s vehicles will access into certain areas, and visitors into others. In this case study, the system is divided in two areas:
- Facility access control. To access into facility, vehicles must pass through a first access control, consisting of four lanes. These are reversible lanes, changing its direction depending on the time automatically or manually, being indicated by a lane’s LED panel.
- Access restriction by license plate. Once inside, there is a second vehicle access control, that redirects vehicles to certain areas as they have permission. This is done through a license plate reader placed in each lane, making a license plate recognition to each vehicle, searches it in the database, and if he has permission to access, the barrier will automatically open.
